Choosing a coach can be scary. We try to make it simple and unimposing. We start with a free, 15-minute introductory call. This gives us an opportunity to get to know why this may be a good time for a coach in your life and you get to meet us.
If the Clarity Call indicates that we may be a good fit for each other, next is a free, 60-minute call so we can dig deeper. We will explore where you are and where you want to be so we can create a plan on how to get there. At the end of this call, we'll discuss how to become a client, if that's your choice.
You've made the choice to invest in yourself! It's time for the work to begin. One on one sessions, action items, and accountability are how we help make changes in the lives of our clients.
I'm a 20+ year Corporate America veteran. In the same company, I held 15 different roles over 20 years, each being more challenging than the last. I enjoyed the learning, the new people and opportunities that each one brought me. I had my share of good bosses and bad ones. At about the 15 year mark, the internal need to escape began to take more and more brain space and energy. It became a yearning. But I felt trapped.
I had a family to support. And it was a special needs family of sorts. My husband wasn't able to work regularly due to mental illness and, as the kids grew, they began struggling with their own versions of chronic mental and physical disorders. I was, and continue to be, the foundation on which they all stood. I had to be stable. There was NO time to take care of myself.
Until my body said, "Nope, I'm done. You've ignored me long enough. I'm getting off of this crazy train." I was in the middle of corporate burnout.
That began the most difficult & eye opening journey. A journey of discovery and forgiveness, one of acceptance and boundaries. It was not only a discovery of self... but also that into coaching. Burnout can be so isolating. I needed to let others know, "YOU'RE NOT ALONE!! You can survive and overcome it. I know because I've done it. I don't have all of the answers but I'd love to create a safe space for you to discover yours."
I became a Master Certified Life Coach. Enter Cecelia Livingston Coaching...
I'm a practical analytic who has discovered that life is not all about the logistics and nuts and bolts of the world. I prioritize my spiritual life and family. I fight the "to do" list that wants to constantly run in my brain, pushing out the ability to enjoy what's in front of me. I'm a wife, mom, friend, Master Certified Life Coach, daughter, sister, and corporate burnout survivor.
